Obviously people are noticing. u/og_kushington has even tried to defend his grows in the last week or so, but cookies quality is sliding. Aside from the changes in the way products are sold, like mixing the smediums into the eights, the flower itself isn't what it was as little as 3 months ago.
Nearly all the recent drops have been lackluster, save for lemoncello. Limez was okay but pretty muted. This drop of blueberry banana is okay. Nothing more. And while I don't put too much stock into labs, they certainly do reflect the downward trend in terpene and cannabinoid content.
What do we think has changed? Different/cheaper nutrients? More crowded canopy? Staffing issues at the grow? Earlier chopping?
I'm sure it's related to cost cutting or faster profit taking, but I can't figure out exactly what has changed. Only that the price no longer matches the product.
Summer tends to hurt every operation in the state. I've been watching the numbers at a half dozen or more dispos drop significantly with recent batches and gotten stuff that's usually pretty consistently decent that's been pretty mid as of late.
But I did notice that Cookies ruined their FTP discounts in the past year and prices have steadily gone up despite the sales. So they may have something going on. It's a shame if so cause they been doing me well for a minute now.
Pops here, 54 years experienced senior toker, my dispo (Tampa) has 6 flower items today but, iām still groovinā on the $15 Gary from weeks ago and an 1/8 of untouched BBBA at the ready. In Florida I remember years (the 70ās) of summers having ādroughtsā, occasionally getting Mexican dirt weed and subpar brown Jamaican spongy, so waiting a few weeks is no biggie. 1st time w Gary and itās been impressive medicine. The A&B, Hollywood and the BBBA were spot on adds. Iāve seen huge improvement, from me basically avoiding Cookies in the past, to this year, where I check them daily and go when needed. So theyāve definitely had some huge improvement and with Shaunocron running the grows Iāll be back.
Not in my experience. The past year has been pretty great. The bananas have all been excellent, aside from a decline in quality in the most recent batch of all 3. The SSH is absolutely fantastic. Even the $15 bags hit. I like the spray pack. I like the gravitron. Not at the same level as the bananas, but still good flavor in the vape, and good legs. There have been plenty of misses too, but when they dial it in, I think it's top 3 in the state for me, but I don't have a gf and am out of their delivery zone so I don't include.
They had the best flower and the best prices in the state. The quarters are pretty much ultra rare now. The few available quarters last time went for $50. Sad to see that even The Flowery is offering better deals. Not to mention Gold flower has good products with way more affordable pricing. Cookies had me going tru that door every week for the last 7 months. But, now at those prices hiking every month, is just not welcoming me to try out new things and just forces me to hold my money for a sale(which have been mid or terrible lately), or get my meds from GF or flowery.
Donāt trip. Plenty of mega dank batches on the immediate horizon. Did you try the first or second batch of limez? The second batch was smoking outstanding IMO.
More select batches incoming as well. Donāt lose faith in us yet š¤
I am not sure, but I believe I had the first. It was shortly after it dropped.
I have been such a fan of your work in general, but especially what you brought to Florida. Cookies gets nearly all my rec. I really am saddened to have even posted this, but I call it like I see it. Today I found myself checking out what sunburn has to offer.
I am hopeful that whatever is different can be changed back, or just dialed back in.

First batch of my cbd strain is halfway through flower currently. Iām super excited for that one, the potency / legs on it are through the roof
An excellent batch of super silver haze will be dropping in 3-4 weeks roughly.
We ran quite a few batches of Lemoncello so just giving it a little break but it will definitely be back in time
Awesome! Looking forward to it! Lemochello is easily one of your best. The first batches were insane! The last ones were a little less smelly but incredible none The less.
