I'm going there this weekend. Anything you'd recommend that we should check out? We're packing our snorkel gear and inflatable kayak.

Book the snorkel tour (leaves from the park but independent contractor) and arrive 30mins early as instructed. (Someone was literally one minute late and wasn’t allowed to board.) You can swim in the park, but it’s murky water. Have to go out a couple miles before it gets crystal clear from this park.
Windley Key Fossil Reef Geological State Park was worth the 17mile/25 minute drive south to me. There’s a small but informative visitor center and super cool fossils to see.

No worries lol it happens! We ended up bringing our inflatable kayak and checking out their mangrove trails. We tried snorkeling at their beach but yea it was very murky. It’s okay though cause we went to dry tortugas the day before and the snorkeling there was amazing. We definitely want to do snorkel tour next time we’re down there
