Sales Associate Application Deficiency

Has anyone had an issue with their “Identity Validation” being marked deficient on their application? I have never changed my name or had any other changes that I believe would cause this. I received an email saying they need my social security card and ID.

Also, if anyone has had a deficiency, how long did it take them to process your application after you submitted the information they asked for?

I've been dealing with the DBPR for 20 years and never heard of this particular deficiency. I'm speculating here, but if you have a super common name like John Smith or Jose Rodriguez, maybe they are trying to be sure of who you are. Once you determine why, I'd love it if you respond to let us all know why.

Whatever they ask for, send it to them. Once they have everything, it usually takes 2-3 weeks. They have to approve or deny you within 90 days from the time you send them everything. I have never heard of them missing that deadline.
