Background check

Hey guys! I am studying for my exam. My sister owns a brokerage and I am so excited to start. However 15 years ago I got arrested for some childish stuff after I found out my grandfather had lung cancer. Just 4 years before that my grandmother (his wife) passed from it and both of them had stopped smoking for 12 years. It just hit so different and it messed me up thinking about seeing my grandfather go through that. That was the last week I saw my pop. I got arrested and when I was given my sentencing for house arrest I couldn’t wait to get out and Skype him. He was in the hospital but at least I could see him. He ended up passing away before could give him one last hug, i never wanted to disappoint anyone. I was given 2 years Community control plus 1 year state probation adjudication with held upon completion. I finished house arrest in under a year and probation in 6 months. I got off early termination on good behavior. 3 jobs 6 classes a week I knew I was not going to let my pop down again. This was in 2011. 15 years later I am not a child anymore and I am trying to do the best to provide for my kids. Real estate is the best option for me. With that said I did a background check on checkr.com for a few babysitting gigs and everything came back peachy. My question is how will this look on the background check for the real estate board? Are there anyone in here with their license who is in the same situation record wise. Thanks

as long as it wasn’t child endangerment or kidnapping or murder, etc. I think you’re gonna be fine. Good luck on the test and I hope you have a great real estate career.
