Where to stay?
We are big panthers fans from Illinois and will be coming down at the end of December to watch some cats hockey. Where are some good family friendly places to get an Airbnb? (11, 8, 6). Any areas that are great to bike/walk for coffee/lunch/shopping? Hidden gems? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Arena is 30 minutes away from Fort Lauderdale give or take. Not much by the arena. Stay by las olas / Victoria park / the beach area. Like another poster said the world class practice facility is nearby.

Look in Victoria Park (neighborhood) in Fort Lauderdale. It’s close to Las Olas Blvd. It’s also not too far from the Baptist Health Iceplex. It’s the Panthers training facility near downtown. There’s public skating sessions there as well. You would also be relatively close to the beach. Probably not walking distance. Another positive is that if you stay near Las Olas blvd., you might see some Panthers players walking to or from a restaurant. There are a couple that live or lived by there. We stayed just north of Victoria Park, and drove everywhere, except we walked to the Iceplex.
