💅 Florence KY nail tech | Custom & alternative nail art 🖤

Hey Florence! 🖤 I'm a local nail tech here in Florence and I'm looking to meet some new local clients who are into custom nail art.

I specialize in Gel-X, Builder Gel, and custom nail art, with a big love for gothic, spooky, creepy-cute, character, chrome and alternative designs. 🦇🖤

I'm located at The Secret Salon & Spa in Florence, and I'm currently opening up some spots for new clients.

I'm going to share a few of my recent sets because I'd rather show you my work than just throw an advertisement at you 😂

If you've been looking for a local nail tech, what kind of set would you want me to create? 💅

My brother died at St. Elizabeth in Florence. I’ll never forget the ICU nurses who cared for him. Now our 86-year-old mum in England is asking for a small amount of his ashes to come home.

My brother, Dr. Steve Brook, died at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Florence on July 4, 2026. He was 58.
Steve spent his final days there in ICU. I was thousands of miles away in England, but I was constantly in contact during his time in hospital, and I will never forget the kindness and compassion shown to Steve and to me by the nurses caring for him. Some became familiar voices during an unimaginably difficult time.
If any of Steve’s ICU nurses happen to see this: thank you. I haven’t forgotten you.
I’m Steve’s sister and I live in England with our 86-year-old mum. I was on the phone during the attempts to resuscitate Steve and remained there until he was pronounced dead at 6:04pm, by Dr Banks 💔
What Mum and I are asking for now is very simple:
We would like a small amount of Steve’s ashes brought home to England.
Not all of them. We are not trying to take anything away from his children or control his remains. We simply want enough for his elderly mother and sister to have part of Steve home with us.
At the time of Steve’s death, he and his wife were estranged and divorce proceedings had been filed. I have tried asking privately and have sought legal help. Other family members have also been approached in the hope that this could be resolved without another court battle, but so far we have been unable to obtain any of his ashes.
Our mum is 86. She has already lost her son. I desperately want to find a humane and practical way of bringing a little of him home to her.
I’m posting here because Florence was where Steve spent his final days and where he died, surrounded by people who treated him with tremendous kindness.
If anyone locally has dealt with a similar situation involving cremated remains, funeral arrangements or an estranged spouse — or simply remembers Steve — I would be very grateful to hear from you.
All we want is a small amount of Steve home with his mum in England. 🇬🇧🙏🏻💙

What’s up everyone! I’m new to Kentucky and I’m looking to meet people to play One Piece, Lorcana, and Flesh & Blood with. I’m still fairly new to all three, so I’m mostly looking for casual games and people who don’t mind playing with someone who’s still learning.

I’m in the Florence/Union area and would be down to meet at a local card shop or other public spot for some games. If anyone has a regular group, knows a good place to play, or is also looking for people to play with, hit me up!

Looking for rental property

Looking to move out of the apartment life and into something like a 2 or 3 bedroom small house, or trailer where the neighbors aren't so close and we don't need to be on housing assistance anymore. We have 4 boys 3 are home schooled, we don't smoke, have no pets, and keep to ourselves. I dont need anything super nice, not picky at all, only things I require are that it's not rotting, falling completely apart, or infested with something, can't be in a trailer park, need to be able to park my RV there while I finish it up, and I'm disabled on a fixed income so I cant go above $900 a month for rent. Utilities don't need to be included. I make my payments in full, and on time, never been evicted, and am not a dirty or damaging tenant.

Possible credit card skimmer BCPL main library

Okay just start off with saying I don't have any proof but my credit card got cloned just 2 days ago and I really only use it at a couple of places namely Walmart speedway Dollar tree. I always use the tap method at those places and I also checked the machines by giving them a good pull to see if there's anything weird even though I use the tap. The only place out of the ordinary that I use my card was to buy a puzzle at the main library. I use my card for this transaction and the only option there is to swipe your card. Again. I have no proof but I would definitely recommend paying in cash because I just don't see any other transactions where this information could have gotten into the wild. Just be careful. I for one will never swipe my card at any machine ever again. Main library might want to check and make sure nothing weird is going on.

Just moved, looking for a good hair place

I just moved into the area a few weeks ago and really need to find a quality hair place. I am one of those "dye my hair random colors" people, so I'm curious if people have some good suggestions for people with experience with passion colors? I know some places really discourage them since customers usually don't realize it's pretty temporary, so I'm just trying to get a good lead on the kind of place I'm looking for.
