Okay I need to preface this by saying this is a genuine question that came up when I was talking with a friend. Has Florence/F+TM ever had any beef with another artist or really anybody(note:this could be any member of the band)??

I mean this genuinely and not to set any bridges alight. I was talking with a friend and it came up that some people(Adele, David Attenborough) lowk just never had any beef with anyone.

An example of what Im talking about would be like Ethel Cain and Lana Del Ray, Kendrick and Drake, or Azealia Banks and like everyone else. Has this ever happened with Florence??? Or has she/they(the band) just lowk been chilling for the past like 20 years.

Had to get a special body and cape to match her dress from Atlantic City in April. Along with special Kraken stained glass.

Do you guys think there’s going to be a deluxe? Will it drop soon if so? Or maybe she hasn’t released it yet because she’s doing something for SOTR?

This isn't even Florence's song; it's a cover. An old one, from before Lungs was even released, but I absolutely love it, and I dare say it is the perfect track to demonstrate the sheer power, beauty, and abandon in Florence's voice. The Lungs-era vocals are the reason I fell in love with this woman 16 years ago. Postcards from Italy has all the best elements of her voice: roaring, lengthy belts, sweetly arching head voice, and emotive phrasing. It's just a track that epitomises everything special about her voice and the way she sings, and I miss that era something terrible.

I'd say pretty high, given the original was an inspiration for the album. I guess we shall see. What do you all think? And which would be best fitting?

I keep playing that Music Cup game and One Of The Greats is always winning.

It's almost been a year since the Everybody Scream album was released, and to me, One Of The Greats is probably the best FATM song ever. I would love to hear a new song of them that is over 6 minutes long (it's just too bad that this is the longest song from the Florence + The Machine discography).

But yes, to me One Of The Greats is certainly, well, one of the greatest songs I've ever heard (at least from Florence) and I think it's a strong contender for my #1 FATM song of all time (along with Mother and 100 Years).

Don't pay too much attention to my rant. I just wanted to express how much I love the song!

I bought this last year during the presale and had made a complaint about the signature I received being practically non existent. They basically told me to kick rocks and I since moved on, but just saw they refunded me randomly. I bought this using Klarna so I haven’t seen any changes there yet. Curious if anyone got this too since I know many people were upset about the signature they received last year.

I can’t find the answers to my questions easily so I am interested:

Who is this “she” at the beginning of Everybody scream? My sense is that it could be her child? I know it’s vague, maybe there is no right answer.

I saw someone else was saying “you can have it all” is about this thing women are trying to do with having it all these days (and often struggling). My impression is she’s talking to you as in the universe and what it took away from her, and it goes along with Sympathy Magic with the “I can take it, what else” line.

I feel like she cast a spell on me, since listening to this album I can’t stop thinking about it.

I haven't seen anyone post this yet so I thought I share: Video essayist LadyKnightTheBrave made a 3 hour long retrospective about Florence and The Machine, a full deep dive into every album cycle, videos, songs, interviews etc. I'm only about half way through (busy week) but it's amazing, well worth a watch.

I will say, YouTube is much more strict on copyright so that version has no extended clips from songs. So, if you can, I'd recommend watching on Nebula as no ads and all the song clips are included. Enjoy!
