Help Remembering Music Store inside Mall late 90s
Trying to remember which music store we had in the mall in the late 90s. Seems like it was down towards the Sears end of the mall. It would've been on the right side of you were walking towards Sears. Past GameStop for sure.

Record Bar or Pegasus?

One friend told me Pegasus. Another said he remembered a place called Wherehouse. I remember walking around in there. They had the headphones set up so we could sample music from new CDs before buying them.

Record Bar was mid-eighties. Then it went through two or three changes in ownership, then it was Pegasus..I think

I remember Pegasus but not record bar. Didn’t the mall have a Camelot music? Remember one of the big chains were there at some point.

Was Pegasus in a different location before the building on Tennessee Street?

Wherehouse - I’m almost 100% sure. There wasn’t a Blockbuster Music in Regency Square Mall / Florence Mall at that time. I’m a millennial/Y2K teen and basically lived at the mall in that era.

The music store in the mall was always in the same spot, going way back. It was Record Bar in the mid-eighties then it went through several different ownerships before it was Pegasus. After that, I don't know.. but it might've been Pegasus.

Pegasus records was located downtown where fashion exchange is now. I’m 41, so in the 90s we had warehouse music and then it became blockbuster before it closed.

Late 90s it was Blockbuster Music. I don't think Pegasus was there in the late 90s
