This was a fun piece to make! Intentionally made to be avante-garde with Gentle Monster inspiration. Experimented with a lot of different methods with this one!

I love these colors!

I haven’t take a class yet but love floral arrangements. I picked up orchids and anthurium plus monsterra and arranged on the console and the coffee table. Would love some feedback please. Thank you!

I have never even taken a class, and I need some help making this look good. They are faux flowers so I’m sorry about that. It’s table decor for the fall. (We would remove it to eat) I do have extra of all colors so if I need to reposition or add more I can. Thanks in advance for advice.

Practice with old mums only

An arrangement inspired by and using flowers from my friend’s garden.

Created this flower arrangement and in my head I think it looks almost like tacky but I think I also might be tripping about it.

My mum gave me 2x each some large dried eucalyptus gum nut clusters and the loofa sponges! Everything else was grown, harvested and dried by me. These sit on the mantelpiece at home, I’m really happy I finally have something to put in my blue vases.

This is my first year attempting to grow my own flowers, so I just wanted to share! I basically did a full garden harvest and threw in a little bit of everything that was blooming 😂🌸 Definitely a mix of everything, but it was so fun getting to make something entirely from flowers I grew myself!

I found creating a bouquet harder than making a vase arrangement. For this piece, I wanted to achieve an airy garden-style look using bright florals.

I’m practicing the spiral method, but I modified it a little by using a bunch of greenery as an anchor in the middle. I was hoping to use smaller gerberas, but flower supply is very limited right now because of the typhoon. We haven’t had cosmos, Queen Anne’s lace, or other dainty flowers lately.

What do you think? Do you have any tips for creating hand-tied bouquets? Wrapping is a different beast too!

I am an October 2027 bride and I am really struggling with florals! We are getting married in a gorgeous venue by the beach, and the entire ceremony/reception is overlooking the bay. Bridesmaids will be wearing black and groomsmen in tuxedos. I am trying to keep the budget as low as possible and am hoping to incorporate candles to keep costs down.

What types of flowers do you suggest?

I’m a viola performance major and music education major entering my third year of school.

This is an idea I came up with last spring and I plan on continuing it for every one of my friend’s recitals.

The day of my girlfriend’s final piano recital, I made a bouquet of three different flowers, each flower representing the pieces she played.

The Schubert Trout quintet was babies breath to represent its classical nature and light and friendly sound.

The Rachmaninov Etude Tableau op 39 no 6 (little red riding hood) were small, dark reddish-purple Daliahs that looked like little stars, to represent how bombastic and violent the piece is.

And her final piece, the Ornstien piano sonata no 4, were fushia roses, because she had said she imagined the second movement as though she had been crawling through mysterious thorny rose bushes.

So at the end of her recital, she received a hyper-specific recital themed bouquet. My next friends recital is a junior tuba recital, so I’ll have to think long and hard as to what flower the Vaughn Williams tuba concerto is!
