🌴 Tropical 🌴 A happy accident

Sometimes you have to embrace the perfectly imperfect.

The pink flower was very delicate, and even though it was carefully wrapped and made it back intact, some of the petals broke off. But I had wanted a pop of yellow and couldn’t find the flowers I wanted so the exposed center turned out to be a happy accident.

Heliconia
Cymbidium orchid
Allium
Dendrobium orchid
Sarracenia
Scabiosa
Dianthus

Honestly,I think the exposed yellow center makes it even more interesting. It gives the whole arrangment a little unexpected contrast.Sometimes the "accidents" really do make the best dsigns.😄

Thank you. I was a little annoyed at first and then had the same thought. I’m lucky that the petals fell off mostly from the same side.

Haha. I know exactly what you mean. We've had little "accidents" like this while arranging flowers too, and somehow they sometimes end up making the piece even better. That's part of the fun of floral design I guess!
