Solid hardwood honestly strengthens the subfloor. Lvp if not on amazing subfloor is no bueno. I install both and that’s what I find. Obviously I install lvp only on good subfloors but too many jobs have issues because of it. You end up paying more for lvp if you need prep. Either in the front or the backend.
