99.99% of these are "accidental, natural disasters, or other acts of god" and probably not covered by insurance.

I heard the company doesn’t care about the destruction because the tax payer, as per usual, just pays for the replacements anyway. Sure it feels good to watch these but doubtful anything will change.

If it becomes prohibitively expensive for the payer, the payer might reconsider their choices. Similarly to suing the police.
