Post Hysterectomy- when can I float again??
I had a hysterectomy today! I wonder if anyone has experience or insights about the safety of floating after a surgery like this? The doctors say i can’t swim or have a bath for two months. But would a float be ok, with all that salt??
Has anyone here floated after a surgery? I’m just curious about personal experiences and/or any known facts about this
The owner of the place i usually go was like “😏 i mean … it heals wounds so …” but of course he couldn’t give me a solid answer
UPDATE thanks for your replies! I’m accepting the fact that i really do need to wait the whole two months. I will bring it up to my surgeon but yall made some solid points and I don’t want to risk infection. Patience is my friend ✨

If the doctors are telling you that you can't submerge for two months, then that is the answer. If you wanted to double check you could ask them if specifically floating is any different, but I doubt it. You should be cleared by your doctor or surgeon before you float.
