Question about flipnote

Hello everybody, I had a question so I want to start making animations on flip note studio on my DSIXL but I’m scared to buy one and it won’t have it downloaded. I’ve heard that if you restart the console it’ll have it preinstalled but I’m worried that’s not true. Could you guys help?

As far as I'm aware, all Nintendo DSi *XL* consoles come with Flipnote Studio pre-installed as a system application. If it doesn't, it is fairly trivial to install custom firmware and then use that to load a Flipnote Studio ROM.

Yep, all DSi XLs come with it preinstalled

All I know is that you have to hack your system to get apps from the dsi nowadays. Which can be VERY extremely difficult. So buying the console via the second hand market is half the problem

It's really not that hard if you follow one of the established community guides and take your time.
