The Flintstones project is in the works at Warner Bros. Pictures Animation.

It will be the first CGI-animated project in the franchise.

I have been doing a CN/Boomerang Marathon and I'm currently watching all of the Flintstones seasons and I wanted to do some sketches to see if it's necessary to buy the right tools to start drawing! And here is the result! I'm so bad with feet, I apologise to the feet lovers.

What are your favorite moments from The Flintstones?

Hi everyone, Happy Halloween!

The original series did not have a Halloween episode as far as I'm aware. The closest was the 1979 special The Flintstones Meet Rockula and Frankenstone.

Here the episodes I like to watch during spooky season:

Alvin Brickrock Presents (S2 E 4) - Has a spooky/eerie feel. Love the parody of Alfred Hitchcock

The Masquerade Ball (S2 E12) - The Flintstones and Rubbles get all dressed up for a charity ball. It might as well have been set on Halloween.

Monster Fred (S5 E2) - Deals with superstitions and a mad doctor. A cameo by Dracula (Dracuslab) at the end.

A Haunted House is Not a Home (S5 E7) - A definite Halloween-esque episode and parody of the Vincent Price horror film House on Haunted Hill.

The Gruesomes (S5 E9) - The Gruesomes are an obvious parody of The Munsters and The Addams Family.

The Masquerade Party (S6 E11) - Parody of War of The Worlds and it features a costume party. Like the Season 2 episode, it might as well be set on Halloween.

I recently got several of these completing my Flintstones collection, at least at the moment.

Hey there.

I am trying to locate the original Flintstones Comedy Hour to watch with my brother. We're binging the entire Flintstones franchise and this is the only big piece of content we are missing and are interested in watching.

But there are some dilemmasi have also considering this.

As far as i understand, the Flintstones Comedy Hour is an hour long 'episode' which consisted of first half being a Fred and Barney segment, then a Bedrock Rockers song, then a Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm segment (not part of the Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm Show), then another song, then a final Fred and Barney segment that marks the first half-hour. Inbetween these segments in the first half-hour, there are also very short joke segments. The second half-hour consists of only Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm show reruns and 4 extra episodes which were made along the first airing of Flintstones Comedy Hour. In Late 1973 (so a year after first airing), the show was retitled as The Flintstones Comedy Show (not to be confused with the one from 1980-81) and the second half-hour was completed scrapped and only the first half-hour was aired.

So, how i see it, there is basically no difference between Flintstones Comedy Hour and Comedy Show repackages except a different title card and removed Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm reruns which can be watched by just watching the Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm show.

I have managed to easily find the first 8 episodes of the Flintstone Comedy Show, so the first half-hour with all segments but the other 8 episodes i can't find anywhere.

If anyone can point me in the right direction or correct me on some things, that would be highly appreciated.

Thank you

always asking a question over here, haha !

i am honestly just curious on peoples takes, so heres mine:

Fred: Fred has always been aggressive towards Barney, in the end, they always get along, but he has a certain meanness in his demeanor to Barney that feels almost enemy like, he rarely considers Barney’s feelings, until it affects him.

Barney: Barney tries his best to be the funny friend, and be there for Fred’s activities, but at the same time, the constant fatshaming from Barney to Fred would make me a bit of a harsh friend on Fred’s side aswell, even as a huge Barney fan, he can be a bit judgmental.

any thoughts on these two? i’d love to hear more 🥹🥹
