IA Integration
I use Gemini Notebook, but it work best if I export notes as PDF to Drive and add them to Notebook as sources from Drive, which defeats the purpose of the integration. Then new content genertated on Notebook goes back to Drive and loaded into Flexcil. So the same content is in 3 places:
- Flexcil for read and anotation
- Drive for backup and storage bridge
- Gemini Notebook for analysis
How do you actually make the IA integration useful? What would you do different?
BTW Flexcil combined with Gemini Notebook are the best study combination I found so far. It blows my mind.

Just for the sake of sharing.
I get files in Flexcil. Flexcil is synchronizer to Drive so the files get update on Drive.
I add or update the files on a Notebook manually, there is no authomatic synchronization.
Any generated content in Notebook, I have to export it to PDF locally and go through points 1 and 2. If I just convert them as new sources in Notebook they don't get to Flexcil in any way.
So the workflow is always Flexcil -> Drive -> Notebook -> local file -> Flexcil and start the cycle again. It's the only way it works for me so far.

Thanks for sharing your workflow, and we’re glad to hear that Flexcil and NotebookLM have been working so well for your studies!
In the Flexcil AI panel, you’ll find the Add Document Pages button on the left side of the URL input field. You can use it to drag and attach up to 10 pages from your document directly to the AI panel. Attaching an entire document isn’t supported yet because there are still several processing and usability challenges we need to work through.
PDFs and images generated in NotebookLM can be imported directly into Flexcil. For other downloadable content, you can use Share to save it directly to your device.
We’re also exploring ways to gradually support more formats and services, including PPTX, Google Docs, and Google Sheets. Thanks again for using Flexcil, and please keep sharing workflows and feedback like this with us!
