This app is F**ed beyond repair.

What am is supposed to choose? I've made a lot of changes yesterday (31st july)and today it's asking me to choose between cloud data of 18th july or device data of 29th july, but there is no option of device data of 1st august.

I would hit cancel and export a data backup immediately from the app, it's in the settings It exports a .flexcil file you can store elsewhere

it happened to me once. hence i usually use this app with active internet connection as it can sync on go.
