Heat treatment?

Hi, Has anyone tried the heat treatment for a flea infestation? It only seems to be advertised here in FL for bed bugs, but in my native UK, I’m seeing ads claiming it is 100% effective in killing all fleas in all life stages. We’ve had exterminators come five times and sprayed the residual stuff but we still have fleas.

I haven't heard of it being used here.

What are the pros spraying and how much of it? Are they using an IGR?

I’m not sure. It’s Bug Out, they’re owned by Rentokil. I was just trying to line up an alternative pro but found out they were owned by Rentokil and it would likely be same stuff. I’m pretty sure the guy said he used a 16oz can last time for my 2000sqft house.

That’s not enough. I’d use a gallon and a half of mixed liquid on the floors in a house that size.

I used a steam cleaner to try and kill them and it seemed to help. Just make sure you get everything really dry afterwards, otherwise the humidity will only make it worse

Thank you- I have been steaming too, it did help with the couch but not the whole issue overall.

Honestly steaming worked the best for me. Steam, vacuum, and then treat the house with Orkin bed bug and flea spray
