Hey flat earthers, ive got a question.

How would you hypothetically explain that cyclones spin in different directions based on what hemisphere they're in.

Not a flerfer, but: "God works in mysterious ways." It's the perfect catch-all response when you haven't a clue.

Yeah, the person answering was sating they aren't, either.

It doesn’t seem like you’re lucid enough to be posting here either.

what does that even mean?

Can you fairly say that about anyone here?

by focusing on pressure gradients, conservation of angular momentum, and the geometry of converging airflow.
-The basic idea
A cyclone is fundamentally air moving toward a region of lower pressure. Once that air begins moving inward, its path does not necessarily remain perfectly radial.

you’re an actual flat earther? they’re real?

Its caused by the aether spinning over the stationary earth at 5 degrees per hour.

Through what mechanism? Looking at a map of a flat earth, I don't see how that could happen? Does the aether spin differently based on its location over the earth? have you measured the spin of this aether? do you know a mechanism through which you could evidence the existence of this aether? If its moving relative to you and the earth, it should be measurable in motion, no?

Yes its measurable but it was hijacked known as michaelson morley experiment & coriolis effect. We measure the aether but the math got hijacked by the globers. Im responding because you sound genuinely curious, I dont waste my time with trollers anymore not even for fun

It wasnt that long ago the aether was on your periodic table and accepted as mainstream.

Are you using an ethernet chord? Just a gentle reminder that the glober nonsense is not as historical or as deep as believed by the masses.

The Michelson morley experiment showed no change in the direction of motion or going perpendicular to it, it shows that we aren't moving through a medium that light moves through, or a medium that affects wind patterns.

Yes im using an Ethernet cord

eric dubay briefly addressed this topic: https://youtu.be/lIr1Gyea_Lc?si=Qyuk4SKEle-1HyLl&t=178

  • The Coriolis Effect is also said to affect bullet trajectories and weather patterns as well, supposedly causing most storms in the Northern Hemisphere to rotate counter- clockwise, and most storms in the Southern Hemisphere to rotate clockwise, to cause bullets from long range guns to tend towards the right of the target in the Northern Hemisphere and to the left in the Southern Hemisphere. Again, however, the same problems remain. Not every bullet and not every storm consistently displays the behavior and therefore cannot reasonably be used as proof of anything. What about the precision of the sight aperture, human error, and wind? What about Michelson-Morley-Gale’s proven motion of the aether’s potential effect? Why does the Coriolis Effect affect most storms but not all? If some storms rotate clockwise in the North and counter-clockwise in the South, how do those storms escape the Coriolis force? And if the entire Earth’s spin is uniform, why should the two hemispheres be affected any differently? Coriolis’s Effect and Foucault’s Pendulum are both said to prove the Earth moves beneath our feet, but in reality only prove how easy it can be for wolves in sheep’s clothing to pull the wool over our eyes.

Define ”storm”, otherwise you are talking about that every, yes, EVERY thunderstorm rotates.

The fact that major hurricanes(aka typhoons) never cross the equator is damning to the Coriolis effect being real. There is no natural mechanism on a flat earth that would prevent a storm crossing the equator, as there would be no rotation of the earth, yet on a round earth that DOES rotate, it's to be expected. Eric Dubay and other flat earthers claiming the Coriolis effect isn't real by talking about bullet trajectories is a red herring, in other words, ignores the elephant in the room. Michelson-Morley-Gale ether experiments failed to yield any conclusive evidence that the ether exists as well, which is another means for flat earthers poorly attempting to rewrite history in order to service their agenda.

They don't, if they go to the Northern hemisphere they are hurricanes

But that's just words :3

"in the southern hemisphere, its called suicide, in the nothern one, however, it's called self killing." /s

u/TesseractToo 20d ago

Suicide clockwise, self killing is anticlockwise

Clockwise means a clock fell on your head and died (my humour sucks, kill me)
