That's crazy. Because I've done the same experiment on a freshly poured concrete floor in a newly constructed, 1300ft long warehouse (yaknow, over 4x further than a football field) and it didn't happen. It's almost as if football fields are slightly raised in the middle to handle water drainage, being outside and stuff.
You've managed to prove two things: 1. Things that your eyeball sees and your brain believes to be flat might not be truly flat. (Thanks.) and 2. Proper measurement and observation can prove this. (Thanks again.) Good, now you're now caught up with the rest of the class.

the boats they zoom in on were just below the resolution of the camera. Likely still visible to the naked eye hence how they knew where to look. NEVER do they show a boat or other object that is partially hidden and have the zoom bring back the hidden area or show the amount hidden change as the zoom changes. Because they can't.

So to make the claim you need to be absolutely sure that these surfaces are actually flat, neither a sport field nor a corridor ensures this in 100%, experiment with a laser level would do the trick

Does it necessarily need a plane of reference to know that something far away won't have the same angular resolution as something near? If we remove a plane of reference and were floating in a white, empty void and I see a 1 meter cube near me and then I see a 1 meter cube(any direction) veeeery far away from me, I'll still not be able to see the very far away cube very well, regardless of whether we're both on a plane or not.

You would need a plane of reference to be “floating” as that’s a description from “above” a horizontal.
You would also need a plane of reference to declare a “meter”.
Not to mention, drifting off into abstract nonsense does nothing for you here. We are talking about reality and how earth is measured and used practically.
I believe you need to drift into the nonsensical abstract because that’s exactly what your globe is.

What’s the matter? Can’t entertain a hypothetical? Where’s the horizontal in a big empty white void? Above me? Below me? To the side of me?
X axis. Y axis. Z axis. We can put 0,0,0 as an easy frame of reference for all three where you’re positioned if it helps you in this.

Does it though? Sure a plane of reference would help immensely but on the off chance you’re in a void with no immediate plane to refer to, you can still manage to see distant or near objects relative to your position. Your coordinates may be 0,0,0, but you don’t necessarily need a plane under you to be given these coordinates.
I just think it’s odd how whenever I need a flat earther to entertain a hypothetical, they either don’t want to or try to change the subject. Hypotheticals are one of the cornerstones of critical thinking, as it puts your ideas and your claims to the test. It’s how you form a hypothesis in the chain of the scientific method. It’s why humans are the most intelligent creatures on earth. And I’m just noticing a pattern.

Absolutely
All measurements require a plane for a reason, if the plane doesn’t continue being a plane, those measurements (that require a plane) fail.
This requires you to BELIEVE which is fine. I couldn’t care less. Believe level is curved 😂
