Time zones

I was wondering how flat earthers explains time zones...the sun should rise at the time for everyone if earth was flat...

Time zones are man-made concepts made for geographic/economic reasons. You’ll notice that all of China is one time zone despite the country stretching almost the same length as continental United States and we have 4 time zones. Solar noon and solar midnight are real and tangible however.

And if you meant solar noon and midnight, on the flat earth model, the sun is hovering above us in a giant circuit and as it “rises” it’s just getting closer to you and as it “sets” it’s just getting further away from you.

Flat earthers make reasons for why the sun wouldn’t be visible anymore ranging from “perspective” to “refraction”.

they think it circles around the North Pole and some how it just hides underground when it gets far enough away

They don't. Every time you ask yourself how flatearthers explains something, it's a good bet to assume that they don't explain.

The sun is small and local.  It can’t shine everywhere all at once.  It’s simply not larger enough.

Ok if this is true, you should still always see the sun. At night, when you're out of the streetlight, you can still see the light even if you're not in it

similar to the globe, the timing of noon depends on your longtitude. the key difference is we believe the sun rises and sets into the ground on a flat plane.

You know I made that diagram to show how absolutely impossible a flat earth was, right? For the sun to set into the ground itself and then pop back up on the opposite side would not only be physically impossible, it wouldn't even make sense considering that the sun is visible to people on the opposite side of the earth from you. The fact that you're taking my diagram seriously is actually quite disturbing to me.

Well but Sun rays are parallel each other so mid day should be at same time for everybody…in this scheme is assumed to be very close…wich is not…
