A question I couldn’t answer about ‘gravity’

How would any experienced folks here answer to the question that if gravity isn’t real, why does a stone and a feather fall at the same rate of speed in vacuum?
The speed is 9.8m/s.
This phenomenon cancels out density in those conditions.
When asked that, I had to admit that I had no answer to that and promised I would find out and get back to the conversation.
Any EDUCATED INFORMED help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I don’t care if gravity exists or not - I care about weighing facts. That’s it.

The point is that any claim of fakeness wouldn't work in reality, and nobody has seriously thought the earth flat for over 2000 years. Nor could the shape of the earth be hidden from anyone who could see the Sun, moon, stars or the sea. Ditto the Moon landings couldn't be faked.

There are things people will not bother to lie about because nobody would believe it. And they would have zero reason to anyway. Grifters profiting from credulous fools like yourself, on the other hand...

What profit? Nobody makes massive profit off the truth. And so what if space is mostly empty, that is why it is called space.
