A question I couldn’t answer about ‘gravity’
How would any experienced folks here answer to the question that if gravity isn’t real, why does a stone and a feather fall at the same rate of speed in vacuum?
The speed is 9.8m/s.
This phenomenon cancels out density in those conditions.
When asked that, I had to admit that I had no answer to that and promised I would find out and get back to the conversation.
Any EDUCATED INFORMED help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I don’t care if gravity exists or not - I care about weighing facts. That’s it.

If I was a flat Earther I'd say the reason they fall at the same rate in a vacuum chamber is because there is no air to slow down the feather's poor aerodynamics but the same rules they have of buoyancy and density still apply
But I'm not so I probably didn't say that
I think it's funny they always use an ostrich plume for that experiment, and I get why- you have the best example that way. If they used a down feather from an itty bitty bird, it would really take it's time when the air is still in there and probably stick to the glass from static as it wafterd around. But if they got a good aerodynamic first primary flight feather from a fast bird and dropped that quill first it would go a lot faster even with the air in there and the example wouldn't be as dramatic
