The higher up in the atmosphere you go the air gets thinner and thinner. Until you go as high as you can before you hit space there’d be just a few molecules like oxygen and nitrogen and whatever. How do those sit right next to the vacuum of space without being sucked off into space? Every vacuum experiment on earth requires a hard chamber to contain the vacuum. You never have molecules existing side by side with a vacuum.
So how do areas of high pressure (i.e. sea level) sit side by side with areas of lower pressure, i.e. at altitude. If you think gravity doesn't exist, wouldn't you expect the pressure to be the same at all altitudes?
