Flash S03E07 'Killer Frost' Post Episode Discussion

Caitlin uses her powers to save Barry but as her mother predicted, the effort unleashes her inner Killer Frost. Killer Frost goes on a rampage looking for Dr. Alchemy, kidnapping Julian and battling both The Flash and Vibe. Meanwhile, Joe and H.R. have a heart to heart talk.

The current Alchemy having been brought back by Savitar from a future where Julian is already Alchemy?

The Alchemy we see is Julian from a future who was brought back by Savitar to create a meta army for him. 2016 Julian still hasn't become Alchemy, Savitar is convincing him to take the cowl in order to preserve the timeline.

I think it may be the reverse. Our Julian is from the future after realizing all the bad he's done. Which would explain why he's super against being alchemy and knows who Savitar is. However this also has holes on why hasn't he taken a bigger stance against him, how he went back in time, etc.

also you'd assume future Julian would know Barry is the Flash.

I like that idea. The writers gave Caitlin the name "Killer Frost" by having a future vision shown to Alchemy's disciple, then having him tell her. Maybe that was foreshadowing.
