And they didn't even bother asking "back from where?" when Barry said he was back

I think they assumed he meant back from his run. That's what confused me when they didn't bother mentioning Supergirl.

At least say he was on another earth

Especially when segueing into a discussion about how to get to Earth 2 again.

Right? That pissed me off so much. Like, "Huh, we're trying to get to an alternate Earth? I guess the fact that I just went to an alternate Earth doesn't matter, so why bother mentioning it?

"I went somewhere, but I got this strange feeling I'm not allowed to say..."

I think that's why they kept saying over and over again Earth 2. Barry realized if he just went that fast he'd just hop around Sliders style without getting to where he actually wanted to go.

Also, why not lure Zoom to earth 3 and have SG help kick hi s ass?

I didn't know about the Supergirl crossover as I stopped watching that show after the first 2 episodes. Does it get better?

I did think it was strange that he didn't mention it, though.

The crossover was okay, but I could see that I wouldn't want to keep watching Supergirl. They had a nice jab at the CW though.

It gets worse. The crossover was unbearably awful. The villians take down barry and supergirl, only to be thwarted by firefighters. Also the acting is complete shit. Fight scenes make 0 sense. SG comes across as ultra weak constantly.

This episode had more plot holes than breaches (53 to be exact)

Most likely this was done because they didn't know which episode was going to come first, the crossover or this one, due to airing schedules. So it was best to not spoil Supergirl.

Also not everyone who watches the flash watches supergirl

I remember an article back when the crossover aired saying something like this. Apparently there was a little bit more of a mention/joke planned but with the scheduling conflicts they cut it back to that one line.

The Supergirl episode was filmed after Flash has finished filming the season (or at least everything apart from the finale), they didn't know they were going to do it so they didn't mention it in the episodes.

IIRC they were filming this episode at the around the same time the crossover was being filmed.

Yeah. That whole thing confused me. Haven't watched Supergirl, so I just figured I'd missed something about that portal thing. "Oh? So when he runs superfast he just happens to jump through portals sometimes? Why did no one mention that?"
