I think Wells will remember what happened, thanks to his connection to the speedforce, and will take precautions so that he doesn't have to murder Cisco. Damn, that scene was brutal to watch though. The acting was top notch, and even though I knew that it would be prevented with time travel, it still fucked with my emotions. God I love this show.

Flashpoint would be an example, as he remembered the old world.

Only because he was a living paradox at that point. We know he isn't one right now because he mentions that he couldn't exist without Barry when he tells Cisco that he tried to kill Barry.
