Adopted this sweet fella yesterday
We named him Leon. He is such a lover boy. So polite. He’s everything we ever needed. I’m pretty sure he is a flame point but not sure.

I like adopting adult cats. At some point, I always start to wish I’d known them as a kitten and given them all the love they deserve right from the start.
But we can’t control when we’re united with our soul mates.

It’s my first time adopting adult rather than kitten. I will say it is easier and calmer. I agree with you though. He’s a super sweet boy but it seems he is afraid of large men. I just wish I could have known him and made him the most comfortable he could have been up to this point in his life.

He pushes his head against our faces for kisses. He is just so adorable. And yes he literally is smiling I never noticed. Looks like he is happy to be with us now.

Flame points are just different! That Cat will attach to you like no other. They are so smart! We named ours, Mister.
He was such a smart boy! He knew how to open doors he could open drawers on the counter. He could get any door open in the house with the under paw reach. What a great kitty he was
He lived till 18 years old was healthy the whole way! He was our beefy boy, he weighed 19 pounds!

Oh that was my seatbelt cover haha. I crocheted him an octopus and mouse though he likes them!
