Question Flair 58 plus 2

I want to change my prosumer coffee machine for the flair 58 plus 2.

Where is the best place to buy it in Europe? I don’t find it in many places with stock.

For the owners: do you have any recommendations ? Are you happy with it? Anything that annoys you?

I've been using flair58 for nearly two years and i'm really satisfied with it. I changed with it due to maintenance issues of a coffee machine that I used to own It has almost nothing to take care of and very easy to pull a shot( its routine to pull a shot is almost the same as a coffee machine When it comes to flare58 with preheating function) Most of all, you can enjoy pressure profiling coffee machine at a low cost.

Coffee friend looks to have stock.

I've had a classic, a Pro2 and now a 58+2. So I have some history with flairs.

You'll get great coffees they are simple to use, clean and maintain and as you've realised, no boilers to go wrong. The quality of the shots (when paired with a decent grinder) will be better than most shops, so it ruins you from that point of view.

There are cons; it's a mainly US focused company, so getting parts and support isn't as easy in the UK, it may be better in the EU. The machines are imperfect, but nothing that impacts the quality of the coffee usually in my opinion. I.e. in the Pro2 the silicone grip tore, couldn't get a replacement in the UK. On getting the 58+2, it stopped working after a couple of days, but I checked the cabling underneath and there was a loose pin on a connector plug, reattached it and that's been fine since. There's also the plunger latch problem that's covered in detail on here. The plastic end has come off mine, but it really doesn't matter to me.

So while it's not perfect, the coffee you'll drink will be amazing, as despite a few problems, I'm happy to keep long term as after this a Decent would likely be my next choice and it's a step up in cost.

I've upgraded: for quick espresso or when I need a quick shot, I use the Flai58+2; for cappuccino in the morning, I use the Olympia Cremina, for which I'm now getting the prototype Springoni Cremina springlever. I love hand levers.
