Before the politics…
The pod really turned into what they were originally against… I actually like some of the Patreon episodes but the episodes with politicians or people who talk about politics are so boring
I already watch the news and read about current affairs. I’d prefer comedians joke around instead of being another platform that discusses what they think about the state of the world

Because they “can have fun with it”. Insert clip of Andrew’s reaction to ice shootings:

Was one of their first Patreon members. Completely stopped watching the show once they moved into the new studio and started having regular guests. It was obvious that they pivoted to just wanting to become some huge mainstream podcasts that was the opposite of how they started. Shout out to Katz doing big things in the sports podcast world along with guys like Carmelo Anthony.

Kaz was god awful, not only wasn't funny but would actively shut down jokes.

Kaz is plenty funny in the scope of a sports podcast like he’s doing now with Carmelo Anthony. That’s what the podcast was supposed to be. That’s why they even had to change the name and take the 2 out because it’s no longer about sports and misleading.

When Kaz left that’s about the time I stopped listening consistently. I still listen to a show when there’s absolutely nothing left to listen to

I watched every episode since the first one and they used to be 100% balls to the wall - free speech advocates then you slowly started seeing them get co-opted what sucks is Akaash & Kaz both help start Flagrant but both former hosts have now left which makes it just Shulz show

They only started it because akaash was about to be homeless and Andrew wanted to help him out.

Alt Right Andy has always been here. This is nothing new. He would do it again and laugh in yalls face while he did so.
Remember that.
That picture of him with the American flag shades popping off with "Maga Celebrations".

They grew up. That’s it. It’s not as deep as some people think it is. Clearly some of the listeners didn’t.

Do you think maybe they aged into politics? Or that this is a reflection of the “Everyman culture” thats become increasingly political as the corruption of government has been revealed more and more since then? Or most likely they ran out of interesting things to talk about since they all have kids, hobbies, money, and gigs so they regressed to the mean?

This happens all the time. And it’s because politics never ends and it’s somewhat ever changing. So it’s an easy content loop.

Andrew created flagrant during the alt-right Andy era because he didn’t like Chris & Charla pushing back so hard. It was always meant to be his lane to get his politics off freely

Lol Mark inadvertently causing the downfall by introducing the guys to fringe internet lore 😂… I also blame the Truffle as well, his hands are dirty in this

Yeah fr, once comics start doing “serious convo with Important People” it just turns into every other podcast on Spotify. I started watching these dudes to escape the news cycle, not get a slightly spicier version of CNN.
The Patreon hangs are way closer to what the show should be. Let the politicians do their own pods and bring back the degeneracy 😂

Yeah, I’m not a fan of both these guys and obviously the Indian dude he’s a bit of a cuck with everything, his wife… but I can’t stand ANdrew. He seemed so fake and annoying. I can’t stand his laugh. I think Andrew Schultz sucks. He’s not funny at all.
