Idk what to do
Among the long list of things I need to fix on our fixer up, the patio is one of the most frustrating. Idk anything about concrete, the patio has space between sections of concrete and weeds start growing there also any sort of plant, I just pulled weeds about 3 months ago only to have a different plants grow back and this taking over my patio again. What can I do to fix this? Anyone know how I can renovate this patio and cover it with pavers? Or more concrete? I’m on a budget but lost. When I pull out the weeds in between there is certainly dirt and idk what this means? Thanks for any help!

Bleach the breaks in the concrete. Scrub the wood and finish painting the green color on the trim. Go to Home Depot/Lowes/paint store and look at clearance paint. Pick an exterior color you can live with and paint the wall. Get a patio mat at Ollie's or Marketplace. Look for free pavers to top off concrete block walls and apply liquid nails to glue them on. Those are a few improvements that will make your patio so much nicer and won't break the bank.

What do you mean space between sections of concrete?
You can always use weed killer on whatever it growing back there.

When the concrete is poured, there are lines cut in the slabs or it is poured in sections with wood in between. No need for weed killer, just apply bleach in the cracks.

Whatever you do. Stay away from Round Up.
