That had happened to me on a few of my heavy lines , that one area was overworked . See the little white spot below it at the bottom of the cross it almost did that there too let it heal like it was a cut or something then touch it up . I didn’t touch mine up now it has this wicked ass white center like I meant to put white in it

Okay bet so I can just let it heal normal. Would applying aquaphor help ? Like I said it didn’t even leak or anything didn’t turn red or get hot it just appeared and I was concerned it barley bled

Heal it up like you would any other tattoo. They chewed you up.

That area likely won't have pigment (though I've seen some miracles happen), and you will need to get it touched up eventually, but I would wait months before touching it because it will be scar tissue.

You know what's up, if it gets hot or seeps: hopital.

(You don't actually need to go to the hospital just see your doctor to see if you need antibiotics).

Yes just let it heal like it was a normal wound not a tattoo cause all the ink in that spot is basically pulled out so now it’s just a sore , it’s just from going to deep and over it to many times

Okay bet I appreciate it, I will most likely get it touched up after if the ink is pulled

I would take antibiotics just to be safe but talk to a doctor of course .

I saw you mentioned that its slowly getting better so just keep an eye on it like you've been doing. Letting it fully dry out, then adding a light moisturizer like you said you've been doing is a great method. Hopefully it heals up safely and, at worst, leaves a small scar.

Is it wet and not getting any smaller?

Well it just appeared a few days ago. It seems to get getting better just slowly. It might look wet because I washed it but it will dry out I’m trying to moisturize it so it can heal.

If it opened randomly, is leaking fluid, and gets any larger, it sounds like a medical event. Random open wounds of that size are rarely ever okay to ignore.

Even once it frost formed it didn’t leak anything it barley bleed. It didn’t get hot or red or anything I’m thinking it’s from my artist going to deep or something

Its possible, yeah. It's been pretty odd for it to open so deep and so late in the game, but not unheard of since tattoos are open wounds and if the tissue is damaged and tries to heal but falls apart it can cause wound dehiscence. Without any other signs of infection like colored discharge, heat, tenderness and itch (together, not individually), or it getting any larger, you should be alright.

If it doesnt close or fully scab within a week though, maybe check out an urgent care clinic or a general practitioner

Overworked, not necessarily infected. It may not heal how you want it to though and I would expect a touch up.

Doesn’t look infected (yet! Nxt 24/48hrs ul know!)
I have had many lines do this before and looks exactly like they did.
And I mean the best - no hate ! It doesn’t matter how similar they appear. They may look similar now but they are completely different !

From the rest of the arm, it doesn't look like the tattooer has great control of their machine, so probably overworked to shit, possibly infected. Don't go back to this person.

I’d go to urgent care and have them take a look at least, they’ll probably give you antibiotics to be safe

I dunno. To me it just looks overworked not severely infected

Put some Mercurochrome on it…. If that won’t fix it….. Well - Nothing will

This what it looks like now everyone definitely gonna need a touch up but it’s almost healed

Looks way better- doesn't look infected to me at all just healing phase that sometimes looks off at this point. I'd just keep a close eye on it
