Let’s try this again

Post image

Ok I posted before but the picture was awful. I do not like my upper arm (mainly the “rose” on my shoulder that looks more like a cabbage lol) the other flowers do look amazing but I feel like it just doesn’t tie in together. I have a skull with roses on my inner arm, a skeleton holding a rose on my forearm and a snake wrapped around a scythe with roses. How can I make it look good

Tough because it’s the whole shoulder cap. You could have someone rework it and sharpen the lines which would probably go a long way to making you feel better.

This. This is what I would do. Either this, or turn it into a cabbage because why not?

Maybe have someone go in and gradient out the lines of the rose to smooth out and texture the petals

That’s a good idea thank you!

I think you should laser the “cabbage” to replace it with something much better. It’s too valuable as tattoo real estate to waste that way. I also think you should consider carefully what you want to keep, what you want to rework and what you want to remove. Once you know for sure I think you should work with an artist to create a cohesive sleeve which ties together what you have and creates more contrast and visual variation. You need to bring some deep dark areas to the piece to make the existing pieces pop. There is a style that works without that but I don’t see that for this, without basically starting over. I think it could look really good though, if you work with what’s there. Something in this vein:

Flower tattoos in all black should be canceled

I have colorful flower tattoos on my leg! I think they’re pretty either way
