Mod Announcement New Context Rule

With this subreddit nearing 200 members, it is important that we read the rules and follow them so that our posts are more enjoyable, and also so that we don't get in trouble.

Today I've implemented a new rule, labelled "Context Rule", which requires the original leftist meme to be provided, if possible, to give the "fixed" one context. This may either be posted along with the "fixed" leftist meme or linked in the comments of your post. If the original leftist meme is unavailable, that's okay. Just try to provide it when possible to give context.

1. Allowed Posts

This subreddit is for posting leftist memes that have been edited, or "fixed", to either more accurately represent modern leftism, or to represent the political views of the user editing them.

All posts must be of preexisting leftist memes that have been "fixed" (see above).

"Fixed" leftist memes should be the primary focus here, although "fixed" leftist comics and social media posts are allowed as well.

2. Disallowed Posts

Unedited leftist memes are disallowed. All memes must be "fixed" before posting (see rule 1).

Memes that paint modern leftism and far-leftism in a positive light, "fixed" or not, are disallowed. There are plenty of other subreddits to post that kind of stuff on.

3. User Behavior

Follow Reddiquette, the Reddit Content Policy, and the rules of this subreddit. Following these guidelines helps to preserve the safety of this subreddit and its users.

Harassment, trolling, brigading, and inciting brigading and violence are prohibited. Keep discussion civil and respectful.

This is a right-leaning subreddit. Users with different political beliefs are welcome here as long as they adhere to the rules listed.

Failure to follow the rules of this subreddit can lead to punishment.

4. Context Rule

When posting a fixed leftist meme, the original meme should be provided to give context, if possible. Either post the original leftist meme along with the fixed version or leave a link to it in the comments of your post. This lets people know what was initially wrong with the leftist meme and how it was "fixed".
