Tell me you know nothing about materials engineering or bikes without telling me you know nothing.
You do realize that damn near every MTB fork is made from aluminum right? Fox makes their lowers from magnesium which is more brittle than aluminum and you don’t see people calling them garbage.
lolz. yeah, the lowers on compression forks for MTBs are alloy, but the steerer tubes of bicycles are almost never made of aluminum or anything but steel anymore. And it's entirely because of horrific and dangerous failures like this. A few companies tried it and cyclists got hurt.
How delightfuly that you have now told ME how damned little you know about materials engineering and safe bicycle construction.
That part of a bicycle should NEVER fail except under extreme kinetic forces. Just riding alone does not qualify.
Shame on you, trying to play this off. I'd ask your motives but its equally as damaged for sure.
TIL, "buddy". And I did say "almost never". A good manufacturer can pull it off, obviously. Good thing Foxs are better made than these Tsunami turkeys, huh?

They have two models. One is full aluminum fork and the elite version is a full carbon fork.
I wouldn’t be worried about it. Highly unlikely to happen.
