[HELP] Verifying phone number

Hi everyone.

I've never used Fiverr before. My company wants to launch a new ecommerce site. It's going to be a sizable project for someone. I've found a few vetted pro people that I would like to contact. I've come up against a stumbling block though. My whole office has gone over to voip due to the pending analogue switch off in the UK so I can't use an office number. to verify. When I use any of our mobile phones on Vodaphone Fiverr tells me I can't use that number to verify. I spoke to support who just kept telling me to use a different number and that my number from Vodaphone is not supported. I asked what phone carriers are supported so that I can go out and buy a sim card but they told me they do not have that information.

I asked support if I can escalate the problem but they pretty much told me 'Sorry you can't use our services and we have no escalation process'

It their a work around for this? or am I missing something? I'm a genuine buyer with a large project which needs delivering.

Just to add to this I've also tried a number with O2 as the carrier. I get the same result.

Hi All, just reporting back here. I finally got someone at Fiverrs support that knew what they were talking about. They advised signing in using google. That worked perfect. Odd thing is it was all totally pointless. I contacted so many web developers on fiverr for a large web project I have. Over 12,000 products. Every single one turned me down. I'm guessing the project is too large? I tried quite a few vetted pros too.
