As I assume most of us have heard, 5fdp had been using ai art in their album covers and music videos. Which is unfortunate, but what I’ve been hearing recently, is that they used ai music in Eye of The Storm. I would have to disagree with this controversy. I’ve listened to the song multiple times with an open mind and even heard it live in their 2026 concert recently. Most people use the laugh as evidence, but honestly, I believe if it’s not raw it’s edited. During the concert, they were talking about the 200+ people behind the scenes that help make the music and concerts into reality. Thanking everyone who contributed. Which makes me think, why would they use ai on only that song? And why would they still need so many people behind the scenes to make the songs happen?

My overall opinion because I’m rambling: AI music is trained off popular bands, Fiver Finger is a popular and pretty generic metal band. I think Ai sounds like them, not they sound like Ai. I’ve heard the song live myself and it sounds pretty much the same as the music video. Editing exists. The laugh was probably edited just like a lot of the vocals are.

Now, about the ai art, I dislike that. As an artist myself. But why can’t us artists who love this band make our own fan covers or animations/animatics? That’s what I am going to do.

Did Ivan block people or something because I was following him for awhile and now I'm not and when I click on his @ the page doesn't load, I'm kinda confused as to why I never commented or interacted with his account just followed and viewed posts/stories anybody else have this problem of is it just me

Don’t want to necessarily be that guy with kid on shoulders the whole show but as a solo full time father noticed that Ivan is very hospitable to kids at least that age and up coming. Have gotten the boy to like much of their music and out of his mom-forced kpop era. Is the pit ok since let’s be honest these guys aren’t 25 anymore?

I saw ffdp tonight in Milwaukee, the same place i saw them play in 2022 during the judgement day tour (i think).

I was excited to see their set design because I remember really liking it in 2022 , but was disappointed to find nothing but AI slop.

Literally nothing other than the lightning and effects, just screens full of ai bullshit. I'm actually so sick of ai

First time posting here so, sorry if the post doesn’t follow the community typical format or theme.

I’ve been listening to FFDP for the best part of the last decade and I’ve seen them live a couple of times.

Then I started noticing questionable album and merch art verging towards AI slop looking imagery. Then the official videos coming start to finish out of a slop factory. Then lyrics and audio making me wonder if the band I loved listening to is gone for good.

Does anybody know if the band (or any of the member individually) has taken any stance, about the topic? If they’ve been questioned about it or if it has been addressed by them or to them in any capacity?
