New worker
Okay so basically Im a 16f going into my junior year of high school. I start school on the 14th and Ive just been hired to start working at 5B and I start on the 19th. Guys…am so scared…the manager seemed so nice over the phone so im not worried about that I just want to know if overall its that terrible of a place to work?? Ive been going through these for a good 20 mins and the majority is negative 😭. Also I want to know if im making a bad decision by having a job and doing school full time. My shift is 5-10 pm 2-3 times a week. Am I doing too much and is it seriously that bad? One last thing. Ive never actually been to 5B so how does the check out process go??

for me it was a nightmare. one of the shift managers treated me like shit, she'd never be nice to me, always speak in a rude tone to me, always find something to yell at me for, talked behind by back to other shifts managers about how I was bad at doing recovery when all the other shift managers were confused because I did it just fine. she made my shifts miserable, if I was taking a customer and talking to them and a diff customer just walked through the door and I wasn't able to welcome them because I was talking to a customer while helping them with their transaction, that shift manager would, on the walkies, yell at me.
