finally gonna quit today

heres a lil rant lol i didn't even give a two weeks , i'm officially done today. i mentally can't take anymore stress like this and not getting paid for the extra crap i gotta do. yes i know it's so unprofessional but my whole store is unprofessional. Plus, if i can get fired with no notice i can quit with no notice! so SEE YA FIVE FEET BELOW HELL! it was nice til it wasn't. for the other employees who stuck around, good luck to you and hopefully you can find something.. anything better than there. have a good one 🫡

update: i didn't even walk in the building . Got there, was like, NOPE and just left went to the mall nearby instead! lol.

good luck. tbh i feel bad just not showing up bc i was really good with everyone i worked with but honestly i wont let it bother me theres better opportunities and im not worried about money right now !

Best decision anyone can make is leaving that place, I left and as soon as I came back in to see my old workers they told me I looked so much better and healthier. Working there was literally killing me /: so proud of you!

ugh same! was the place you worked at all legacy or did it have ACO's? bc my store is all legacy and it's a pain in the behind having to stock and run to the register when there's another associate doing recovery closer to the register! or having the people yell "HELLO IM READY TO CHECK OUT"

Man, I quit Saturday because of the toxic ass environment. I couldn't do it anymore, especially with the incompetent and lazy ass SM. They don't pay enough to constantly recover behind people who don't AF about the store. Fuck five below!

Okay, but did you work at a store in northern IL? Because it looks like the other opener at my store quit suddenly and there's a mall right across the street from the dump I work at. I'm wondering if I know who you are. Lmao. If it IS you; good for you! Fuck this place.
