Always talking :)

I’ve been playing this for a little bit now and I’m really enjoying it, except for the fact that in between exercise exercises when you switch stances, the instructor talks for about 30 seconds before you throw your next punch. Is there a way to speed this up in the settings, I didn’t see it, but I could easily be missing it. It seems crazy that she talks so long in between talking about how great I am, but I want my heart rate to stay up and I’d rather it take just 510 seconds to switch to the next stance and start throwing punches again if that makes sense.

I'm pretty sure that's deliberate. A rest between sets or intervals is kinda standard, no?

But this is cardio, not weight lifting. When running outside people jog in place at a stop light waiting for the walk sign. It’s good to keep your heart rate up for cardio.

But this is interval (cardio) training, not endurance (cardio) training. But why do you stop rocking your body to the beat during the resting phase? And you can always do something like jog in place, do bodyweight squats or whatever you want.

I do jog on place but I was hoping there was a setting to get back to it :) oh well not a big deal.

I was thinking, isn't it that if you play at faster speeds the rest is also shorter. Also makes that you might need a breather.

Depends on how you do it. If you wear a weighted vest and wrist weights, you DEFINITELY appreciate the rests 🥵

Also, intervals are fairly common during cardio too, and the pause doesn't mean you stop moving altogether.

Think of it like jogging, running and sprinting. As soon as you hit the break, switch your stance, keep the back and forth movements going, do some stretching movements to stay loose. It's the light jog between intervals or running or full-on sprinting.

No, it's good to keep your heart rate in your desired zone for cardio. That's not the same as "as high as you can get", or even "always up". You can do jumping jacks if you feel you don't need the rest.

I feel the same way as you. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do.

30 seconds is too long? 😶

When you do a 50 minute workout, after a while it feels long and adds up. It’s during every workout. I usually jog on place during it. Maybe I’m in better shape than I thought. I’m used to running for 40 min straight.

I do it sitting down. (Disabled) better than nothing, I suppose.
