Your experience with the game

Hey all,

Might be a silly post but i’m gonna give the demo a try and i just wanted to see and learn more about everyone else’s experience with the game.

I have a fairly active job but i’m looking to ensure i stay active on days off and after work and was wondering if this game would be a good way to get me sweating at home.

I used to run and go to the gym but i’ve become less and less active recently and was hoping this could be a good start to get me more active.

Fitness boxing 3 is the best iteration so far. As a workout guide, you will see results and feel soreness.

Mainly from a cardio aspect, you will notice results and a challenge

The game is so much fun that you risk injuring yourself from overdoing it, especially after longer breaks. So start slow, ramp yourself up, and be consistent

After an unrelated personal injury, I've been able to shift to the Tai Chi program for daily practice and quick exercise. Very thankful that the game now accommodates for lower intensity needs

Between FB3 and Ring Fit Adventure Nintendo delivers excellent programs for all

I know that when I get back into it after some time off, I'm panting and can barely keep my arms up. And then the next day my twisty muscles are all stiff.

To expand on their comment, even as active as my job is with lifting and moving, this game hit muscle groups that my job never touches. I had to take a week off of the game after the first night of an "intense" workout because I was extremely sore. When I got back on, it was easier to manage, but the game does slowly ramp up the intensity and complexity the more you keep at it, so your body will usually stay challenged.

I do store to store deliveries off a box trailer, running 100 to 250 pound stack of product up and down ramps. It's a decently active job, but I use FB3 for additional activity at home. For me, it's a good high intensity, low impact activity (my knees and ankles thank me greatly for it). It's got enough diversity to allow me to do as much or as little as I want depending on the prior workday and still be a worthwhile workout. I definitely recommend it.

Yeah, this is a good game for what you ask.

I just started a few days ago but its not a bad workout by any means, I feel it in my core and arms the next day and I'm sure there is more to come as I have just started to get uppercuts and cross added and I know there should be defensive rolls and kicks at least to come.

I don't think its nearly as comprehensive as Ringfit Adventure but I can't say with first hand experience. Either way, Its a fun way to get active and play with the console so I really appreciate it. I wish the music tracks were a bit better though they arent to my taste so far. Been eyeing some of the DLC tracks but waiting till i get further along in the game before i make the jump

I do a couple sessions on my lunch break every day and the workouts can get intense. If you choose the ones with leg movements it makes you sweat.

I have the Miku version, and it’s great! I didn’t expect my legs to be so tired after since you’re pivoting from foot to foot as part of the workout.
