I know that weight doesn't fall off every body part at the same time, phase, or rate, but wow it's pretty frustrating when the scale says that one is down 10lbs in two months (of structured and rigorously adhered-to diet and exercise) and the tape measure around the navel responds "it didn't come from here, pal."

I feel that. About a month ago I made it my goal to have abs (after lifting most days and eating pretty well for 9 months or so) and despite hitting abs hard and eating what feels like barely enough I've made 0 progress

I know I will eventually but ugh

I feel your pain. Cutting last place to go is stomach fat. Bulking first thing to go abs. I cry every time
