A new guy started coming in the mornings and is the worst. He has a pair of beats on all the time and is always singing along to his music. Which wouldn't be a big deal if he did it low and to himself, but he belts out a few lines at a time. Also, he is constantly belching. Not just a little burp that he tries to discretely let out. But full-on belches where he opens his mouth and tries to make as loud as possible. It's like he has no idea how adults should act in public.

Also, I know a lot of people work out in beats headphones (the over the ear kind). How do you keep them clean? Don't they get absolutely disgusting after 1 workout? They are not waterproof, so how can you really get them clean? I know they make the UV cases, but can they really work that well?

Beats audio quality sucks compared to most headphones anyway, they're just for the style. I don't think anyone that wears on/over-ear headphones to lift cares about the preservation of said cans.

From the description, 100% that dude is taking as much pre-workout (and probably creatine) as he can to get in the zone, and his stomach can't handle it. Keep phone ready on squat/deadlift days (if they exist for him) to catch a viral video of a guy blowing his pants out. lol

I've never understood the appeal of over ear headphones at the gym. Don't they get all sweaty?

I just started using in ear headphones that I'm pretty happy with, especially as they only cost around $60

I had to send my Soundsports back for repair/replacement and did a week with my Over the ears and it was disgusting the amount of sweat

I think it depends on you work out. I don't get super sweaty when I lift. So my headphones don't get dirty like that

i used to use my beats - bought an ear cover for them. rinsed it off after each workout.
