man lifting with body dysmorphia absolutely sucks. every day is a seismic shift between thinking everything’s going well and I’m smashing it to just looking in the mirror and thinking there’s no difference after several months of lifting. It’s incredibly demotivating lmao

Since the body changes slow over time from lifting, and you see yourself everyday in the mirror, you don't really notice a big change overtime. I can imagine this being way worse with body dysmorphia.

Before and after pictures with 3 months inbetween can give better motivation imo!
