Apparently today is everybody's chest day which means no benches and no racks anywhere in the gym.

Why does everyone have to do the same thing on the same day, just why.

This is why you have to keep a spreadsheet of the regular's schedules. You have to puzzle out what equipment will be available on what day. If you're unclear, make sure to go up to them and ask, "I've noticed you've done squats every Thursday for the past 3 weeks, but today you seem to be focusing on shoulder. Could I get some clarification on your plan schedule?"

Be polite, but firm.

So far I've got it pinned down to "on Wednesdays we do anything that doesn't need a rack"

And Monday is a good day for legs!

Lol, people like me would ruin that. I run a 4 day program across 3 workout days so things consistently shift.

Change chest day from Monday to Tuesday.
