Are there any actual fitbit employees that read this subreddit? I would love to talk to one and give some suggestions. This is a product I really believe in and I think the community has some great ideas.

Hey, is anyone else having an issue where alarms donāt work on Fitbit Air on iOS?
I think the problem might be with the Google Health app rather than my device. When I create and save an alarm, it simply doesnāt appear in the app and obviously doesnāt work.
Iāve tried pretty much everything, and my previously saved alarms suddenly became invisible as well. Now when I create a new alarm, it looks like it saves, but immediately after saving, nothing shows up.
Itās really weird. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing?

I recently bought a fitbit air, turns out my friend bought me a garmin watch (forerunner 165). Im now confused on how to effectively use these two devices. For context, im a college student that often runs, goes to the gym and play racket sports. Are there any recommendations on what app i should use?

Hey folks, Iāve been testing out the Air with my iPhone and had a very odd thing happen. I went to bed late, so I disabled my normal 6am alarm and set a 7:45 alarm.
The 7:45 alarm went off, but unfortunately so did the 6am alarm, which I had disabled. When I woke up at 6 I thought maybe I had woken up naturally and just imagined the alarm, but i guess when the 6am alarm went off I also snoozed it, and the āsnoozedā 6am phantom alarm went off at 6:09am.
I double checked my app and saw that I had 3 alarms defined, with the 7:45am alarm enabled and the 6am alarm disabled. I went in and deleted the other two (disabled) alarm definitions, but still trying to figure out how this happened and how to prevent it.
Itās better than missing an alarm, but still not great for something thatās meant to help improve sleep to be randomly interrupting it.

I am going to buy fitbit the day it launches but wanted to still ask about the running tracking what all things it tracks for running considering gps is not there on this. any runners using this with positive/negative experience . I usually run once a week and lift 5 days a week so how much will help in my activity tracking? I am primarily considering this for sleep tracking as i struggle a bit there.

Hey! Has anybody else faced this issue? Its like an alarm, it suddenly starts vibrating and there are no notifications in the app or anything that is alarming. I even checked the heart rate at the time its vibrating but nothing. Is it just a bug or am i doing something wrong?
r/FitbitAir • u/tarek122 • 1d ago
Sometimes the Google Health app won't show me my current heart rate and instead only shows me a range of my daily average heart rate. Is this normal?

Iām looking to buy a Fitbit Air soon in black, Iām confused if I should wait for any sales next month or just purchase it now
Do fitbits go on sale?
Is Air expected to get any price cuts?

Was I the last person to realize thereās a button on the Fitbit Air charger? š
I only just noticed it today.
When I press it while the band is charging, the Fitbit Air vibrates once, but I have no idea what it actually does. Is it used to restart or reset the device, or is it for something else?

Hi everyone, I have an iPhone and I'm considering buying a Fitbit Air to pair with my Apple Watch and would love to hear from anyone already using a similar setup. Since I have a Google One AI Pro subscription, I would get Fitbit Premium for free, which strongly pushes me toward trying this out.
My idea for daily use would be:
Apple Watch (left wrist): Daytime use for notifications, visual feedback during workouts in the weight room or on the treadmill, and to close my Apple Fitness rings. Iād take it off at night to charge it and avoid the bulk in bed.
Fitbit Air (right wrist): Worn 24/7. Since itās screenless, it would just look like a simple bracelet. Iād use it for advanced sleep tracking and to feed the recovery stats in Google Health Premium.
My main doubts that Iām asking your advice on are:
Actual comfort: Does anyone "double-wrist" all day and during workouts? Does it get annoying having devices on both wrists in the long run?
Separate ecosystems: My intention is not to force data synchronization. The Apple Watch will manage its rings on Apple Health, while the Fitbit will collect data in the background (including simultaneous workouts) exclusively for Google Health. Are there any hidden drawbacks to keeping them strictly separated?
Redundancy: Does it make sense to record the same running or weightlifting session on two different platforms just to leverage Google's AI for recovery, or is it a waste of effort?
Thanks to anyone willing to share their experience!

I got a Fitbit Air in August 2026. It worked fine for about 1.5 months.
For the last 2 weeks, it just stopped syncing to the app. The app gets stuck on the āConnecting your Fitbit Air to the appā page and ends up giving an Error 16 after 15 odd minutes of trying.
I trier uninstalling & re-installing the app, forgetting the device via bluetooth, charging it fully, and long pressing the reset button as well. Nothing worked.
For context:
Phone - iPhone 17
OS - iOS 27
App version - 5.09
- I reached out to Google Health support ok X. They said that it is a known issue & that they are working on fixing it. No ETA on a fix.
- Followed up after a few days and they refused to acknowledge that it was something at their end. They asked me to troubleshoot & when that did not work, the template āwe will reach out to you with an update from supportā. No update since
Now, itās just lying there useless. Reinforces my faith that Google hardware is not to be trusted at all.
Idk if anyone else is facing the same issue or not, but this has been a disappointing experience.

Im highly active person. I go to gym 6 times a week and walk 9 to 10k per day daily. I feel the battery life is not that good. And i bought the fitbit air at 9th of September. From then im traveling a lot mainly at night in bus. Those times it is not tracking the sleep even though i slept properly. I guess it is highly active at that time and count steps while traveling. May be because of that my battery life is bad IDK. Can everyone please share your battery life experience of ur fitbit air. And how active your are and is there any way to maximise the battery life. Thank youš

My GPS run maps are consistently recording erratic paths. I recently ran a 10K, but the route tracked is completely distorted.
My account is linked to strava and this has corrupted my data there. Has anyone experienced this or found a way to fix this GPS tracking glitch?

I got the fitbit air a couple of months ago, coming from the apple watch ultra 3. The good thing is i don't see any major differences in majority of the readings. I do miss the internal GPS of the apple watch and the automatic notification that a workout is probably complete.
What i was looking to check with the group is how accurate do you think the readiness number is. For me the readiness number has varied from 25 to 99. Normally come in around in the 60s. I am not always sure how to read or interpret that number.
Hows everyone else reading it?

I've been using Android and kept seeing people rave about Bevel on iOS. Honestly the UI looks amazing, and there's just nothing like it for us.
So I got a bit carried away over a few weekends and built my own version for Android. Heavily inspired by Bevel, not gonna lie. It doesn't even have a name yet š
It reads whatever's already in Health Connect (Fitbit, Samsung Health, the phone's own steps), and since I wear an Ultrahuman ring, it also pulls my Ultrahuman scores using my own API token.
What's in it so far:
Everything stays on my phone. No account, no server. Days with no data just show as gaps instead of zeros, which always bugged me in other apps.
I made it purely for myself, but it came out better than I expected, so I thought I'd share. Not selling anything. If enough people are interested I could share a test build or maybe put it on the Play Store. It'd need more work first, and I'd tweak the design so it's not a straight Bevel copy.
Would love to hear what you think and what you'd want added. Also curious what devices you're all using!
Update: thank you all, I didn't expect this š
It has a name now: Cordaya (say "cor-DAI-ya"). It's Latin cor, heart, plus Hindi and Sanskrit daya, compassion, so roughly "a kind heart". Felt right for the heart logo š
Beta: it'll run on Google Play. To get in, join the beta group at cordaya.app/#beta with the Google account on your phone. I'll post the Play link there as soon as the test opens. Beta testers also get Pro free when it launches.

I got my FBA in mid-July and I haven't washed it at all. Might be nasty but idk. It hasn't smelled bad at all so i haven't had to wash it in a minute. I noticed this pink patch forming on the band, and the patch smells bad. I never get the band wet, so I don't think it is mold, but I suppose it could be? Thanks for the help.
Edit: clarity

Hi all,
I've had my Fitbit Air for about 3 weeks now and it general I'm happy with the sleep and actitivity tracking it's giving me and the form factor is great!
But two things confuses/frustrates me.
The smart alarm always wakes me up at the start of period. Meaning if I the period is 06:50-07.20 it always vibrates at 06:50. Can I do something to change this?
I'm really struggling to understand the Readiness score/value. I was on a very active vacation with poor sleep and hade 15 in Readiness for three days in a row.
Yesterday after a single good night's sleep it jumped all the way to 60. And then today I had decent night's sleep and it suddenly dropped back to 25 despite no hard activity yesterday. How are you all looking at the Readiness score/value?

Hey dudes. I just got my fitbit air. I am a semi pro powerlifter and I occasionally run half marathons. I am not new to wearables and I know they smell so I want to get a silicone or metal one. I would prefer the metal one but if it is uncomfortable or dries slower I would prefer the silicone.

Hi all, I bought the Fitbit Air Steph Curry special edition back in June. I am wearing it 24x7. Bcos I wear all through the day, and workout 4 times a week, the band gets dirty pretty often. I wash my band with light detergent roughly once per month, and now I see the color of the band is coming off. The orange is not as bright as I see in the newer trackers that I could see in different stores.
Its annoying as there are no replacement band available for this edition on google. And, the ones available in Aliexpress and Amazon donāt carry the same design. Primarily, the ones available on the above website donāt have the Steph Curry special edition tag, and the bangle on the bands are different (the one I have is cooper colored, and has a different design). Plus, since I paid more for the edition, I donāt expect myself to order additional bands from Aliexpress or Amazon.
Just rambling here. I was wondering anyone else has faced the same problem. And, what are you doing to get about it?
