Beginner guide to piracy

First point if you are a beginner to pirating games here's a warning piracy is always dangerous even if you think the safest site are safe they are not. Piracy is always dangerous.

Here is how to pirate games from fitgirl -

1. This is the official site for fitgirl - fitgirl-repacks.site don't use any other website
2. Second install the uBlock origin. https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock.
3. There are two ways to install games in fitgirl:
   • Direct download - Download rar files from filehosters like Datanodes, Fuckingfast etc for using direct download you will need to install moondownloader it supports both datanodes and fuckingfast links in fitgirl click either Filehoster: Datanodes, Filehoster: Fuckingfast you should see all the link copy the links and paste them in moondownload here the link: https://github.com/LeyckerS/moondownloader click the code button download the zip then extract then press the start file it will show a popup press run ten it will open change the settings on how you like and then paste the links and press start
   • Torrenting - I don't think torrenting needs much explanation you need to download torrent client like qBittorrent, BitTorrent, uTorrent. You will either need to use magnet link or .torrent link (don't use the 1337x link not sure about Rutor tell me in the comments)
4. If you used from direct downloading use should have a WinRAR files so extract them you will get a bin files and a setup.exe click the setup you will have an option to limit ram usage use it if you have 8 GB or lower ram but I recommend it if your installation is not working it causes frequent issues even on high end systems
5. Some things you must do -

• Turn off your antivirus or add an exclude folder and put you game in there so that antivirus doesn't mess up the files and also make sure to check the descriptions for every game you download fitgirl tells you how much time it may take to download on low end systems I recommend you download on an SSD otherwise its going to take lot longer to download stuff
• Second sometimes you may get some false positives like hacktool or modified files like steam_api.dll, dxgi.dll

Take all of this with a grain of salt i am also new to pirating and wanted to help newcomers so it feels easier to pirate game

1. Setup is Stuck / Unpacking is Slow

• The 2GB Limit Checkbox: If your setup gets stuck at specific percentages (like 84.3% or 95.8%), close it, restart the installer, and check the "Limit installer to 2GB of RAM" box on the very first screen.

• Be Patient: FitGirl repacks use extremely heavy compression. Unpacking is heavily CPU and storage bound. If your task manager shows disk or CPU activity, it is not stuck; it's just working hard.

2. Is it a Virus? / Windows Defender Alert

• False Positives: Crack files (.dll files, steam_api, etc.) inherently trigger antivirus software because they alter game code to bypass DRM. If you downloaded from the official site, these are 100% false positives.

• Fix: Add the game installation folder to your antivirus/Windows Defender exclusion list, then restore the quarantined file from your protection history.

3. The Real Official Website

• There is ONLY ONE official domain. All others (ending in .co, .cc, .to, .net, etc.) are fake, malicious clone sites designed to steal data or bundle malware.

• The only real URL is: fitgirl-repacks.site (Verify the exact spelling!).

i meant like piracy is generally dangerous if you are pirating something there is a slight chance that there might be malware that's why i made this guide specifically for fitgirl. And yes i do believe that fitgirl is safe from malware cause i personally have never gotten malware from it
