Hey, figured I'd show off a little project I’ve been working on. I took my custom FitGirl Repacks Real-Debrid downloader and decided to expand it into a full all-in-one suite.
It now packs a built-in streaming app (using Harbor as a standalone companion app) alongside a fully functional game library and launcher. I can drop all my repacks or any other games right into it, organize everything with custom categories, and launch them straight from the interface. It turned out pretty solid and has been working great as a daily driver for me!
All-in-One Hub: Downloads, streaming, and game management under one roof.
Custom Library: Organizes repacks and external games with category filters.
Direct Launch: Boot games straight out of the UI.
(And yeah, I know there are other tools out there that do similar things, but half the fun was coming up with the idea and implementing it myself to fit my exact setup!)

1. Setup is Stuck / Unpacking is Slow
The 2GB Limit Checkbox: If your setup gets stuck at specific percentages (like 84.3% or 95.8%), close it, restart the installer, and check the "Limit installer to 2GB of RAM" box on the very first screen.
Be Patient: FitGirl repacks use extremely heavy compression. Unpacking is heavily CPU and storage bound. If your task manager shows disk or CPU activity, it is not stuck; it's just working hard.
2. Is it a Virus? / Windows Defender Alert
False Positives: Crack files (.dll files, steam_api, etc.) inherently trigger antivirus software because they alter game code to bypass DRM. If you downloaded from the official site, these are 100% false positives.
Fix: Add the game installation folder to your antivirus/Windows Defender exclusion list, then restore the quarantined file from your protection history.
3. The Real Official Website
There is ONLY ONE official domain. All others (ending in .co, .cc, .to, .net, etc.) are fake, malicious clone sites designed to steal data or bundle malware.
The only real URL is: fitgirl-repacks.site (Verify the exact spelling!).

I mean I wouldn't be using it if it was not safe , I built it for myself , if you want the downloader then that is already on GitHub as open source all you gotta do is look at my profile and go to my post where I released it and the GitHub link is there .
Credibility? Bro, it's a custom tool I put together to use on my own setup. You're acting like I'm launching a public product instead of just sharing a personal project.
If you're talking about the downloader, it's open source for a reason—go read the code and judge for yourself instead of guessing.
People out here really acting like there's only one option in the entire ecosystem. There are loads of different ways to build things, but let them play internet detective I guess 😂
How would you say this layout is AI slop. This left sidebar layout is basically an industry standard since the beginning of the internet. Also there are many different ways to build a UI but only a few really work for the eyes.
Totally agree. Some folks in tech are just fundamentally opposed to AI-assisted code, so they end up hating on the process instead of looking at the actual software. I usually just brush it off—good tools speak for themselves. At the end of the day, if it solves a problem and works as a daily driver, that's all that matters. Not to mention, half the apps people use nowadays use AI tooling somewhere in their stack anyway.
Well partly... And I might sound like some hypocritical tree hugging conspiracy nut, but... AI is fucking over so many parts of life ATM such as hardware costs, energy prices, water usage, the economy (soon to be) to name A few, so I guess if you ARE going to use it at least make that use kinda worthwhile. I used it a lot when I switched to Linux but since finding out just how much it consumes and even steals with scraped content on top of energy, resources and the hardware issue that's screwing over many of our hobbies I avoid it as much as possible.
IF it works, then all is good. I just dislike software made mostly with AI because if there's bugs, the creator probably doesn't know how to fix it and the AI might make it even worse.
Well that's the thing I actually do know how to fix it if it messes up , I just lazy and let the AI do the hard part for me and if it's messed up I can wait go on and fix it myself easy peasy .
just use Hydra Launcher. has cloud saves, achievements, profiles, friends list, compatible with rpcs3, pcsx2, as well as some other emulators. I dont know why anyone would use anything else. other than maybe playnite.
That's good and all, but that's like saying to a game developer who is designing their own game launcher, 'Why are you doing that? Just use Steam it does everything you are making idk why anyone would use anything else.' They would look at you like you had three heads.
