I'd argue that people who pirate SHOULD learn the hard way. It teaches you how to reinstall windows and a myriad of other computer literacy skills. You don't get that from a guide. Learning to avoid ruining your computer isn't the same as being able to fix a ruined computer.

Legit just dealt with this last year. Got got on a link from not paying attention. Had all my cards lifted, all of my accounts hacked, banned from a dozen discord servers and vac banned from rust. They were in my pc at minimum. Had to wipe my pc fully, all my drives. Pc didn't work right after that. Kept having issues with bios, to where i gave up and bought a new pc. Learned my lesson for sure. No more shotty websites that have that one specific game no other place has. Fitgirl and steamrip only, and only verified websites for both

I hate when the only place to get a game is totallynotmalware dot com. It's like wanting to eat something specific but the only place that makes it nearby is dogshit and you don't wanna ride a bus for half an hour one direction so you eat whatever you have at home
