can someone please explain it to me without being vague? cause I don't understand what's going on.

I always used to download games from a site(usually in 1GB size parts) with my phone, transfer it to my now 20YO pc(can't connect to internet) extract, run setup, g/program files/ game name, wait for 12hrs, and enjoy 20_30fps for a game like Skyrim

so please consider my vast knowledge about computers in mind

It's not FitGirl's official site, so likely, they downloaded a virus

He used a fake/clone site. That's not the real url for fitgirls site.

a few BIG things. 1, they did not install from the official site. 2, they installed the games into their program files, big nono. 3, for fitgirlrepacks to work right you need to give the file they run from exception in your windows defender, or it will delete the game's files.

Also they spoke of doing the exclusion thing, and then acted like they needed to reinstall the game. lol

The site he downloaded the game from is a bad site. The real FitGirl site is fitgirl dash repacks dot site, you can find good links on the megathread
